Problem Statement:

A farmer who has small farmland and when he tries to get Govt. facilities such as agriculture loan, insurance, MSP (Minimum Support Price) and other Govt. schemes. He has to provide all the farmland’s information documents to the Govt. officers / Bank Officers / insurance Company etc. to apply for any farmer’s benefits schemes. The verification will be happening each and every time from by some Govt. or Non-Govt. agency and they expend huge money to verify the documents and storing in a safe place and taking more time in releasing the funds or benefits.

Blockchain Solution Statement:

We have used Private Blockchain/Multichain one of the latest technologies to solve this problem. This is the de -centralized database technology where all the information are stored into the block chain de-centralized network’s nodes. (Banks, Companies, Govt. Agencies etc.). Govt. have control on the network and he can provide the type of permission to join the network to access the information as per requirements. This solution will speed up the work process and no one can alter the data manually which is fully transparent. There is no place for fraud as it has great inbuilt security. A farmer will have to register himself by providing his information as per Aadhaar card using KisaanMitra App and once the initial registration form gets approved then he will be able to register his farmland using this application itself. He has to share his farmland information with his Lekhpal (Govt. officer for farmland verification for his area.) after filling all the details and clicking on the share with Lekhpal button. All the Lekhpal have read/write permission on the Blockchain/Multichain network where he will login to his system using Indian Lekhpal Approval application and able to see all the pending approval with farmland details in his area. After physical varication, the application will read the current location of farmland and update the location on the map and he will provide his comments and he can take the decision for approval or rejection. All the information will get updated into all the Multichain nodes. When Lekhpal will approved the farmer’s farmland the he will be eligible to apply for agriculture loan, insurance and other Govt. benefits schemes. And all the connected banks or insurance company from Multichain network can take decision based on farmland details and Lekhpal approval statement. This Blockchain solution can be extend for many features and it will provide fast work process, work transparency, it will avoid fraud and save money and secure the documents and easy access.
